The Turkish defense industry adds a new export achievement. A contract has been signed between Bogazici Savunma and Indonesian Defense Ministry for the members of the ILTER Anti-Drone System family.
Bogazici Savunma, which set out in 2017 to contribute to Türkiye’s technological independence, offers solutions for both Turkish security forces and friendly and allied countries with its products, especially drone detection, tracking and blocking systems. In this context, a contract has been signed between the Indonesian Ministry of Defense and Bogazici Savunma for the sale of Anti-Drone Systems at 2022 Indo Defence held in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia.
Bogazici Savunma becomes the first company to sell an Anti-Drone System to Indonesia by the export agreement. Under the contract, ILTER J250 Drone Detection and Blocking System, ILTER MRKAS (Mobile High-Power GNSS Diversion and ISM Blocking System) and ILTER Drone Gun will be delivered to Indonesia.
ILTER J250; is an Anti-Drone System that is developed against fully autonomous threats with its route loaded. The system first assess the RF sensors and radar outputs to automatically detect, identify and track the presence of mini/micro rotary-wing or fixed-wing UAVs in the air. Subsequently, it neutralizes the threat with its automatic interference and deception function.
The main functions of ILTER J250 are as follows:
ILTER MRKAS (Mobile High-Power GNSS Diversion and ISM Blocking System) is a portable Anti-Drone System. Just like ILTER J250, ILTER MRKAS assesses RF sensors and radar outputs to automatically detect, identify and track the presence of mini/micro rotary-wing or fixed-wing UAVs in the air. Then, it ensures that mini/micro UAVs are blocked with the appropriate interference and deception method.
